A person’s choice as to what constitutes a good livery is a very subjective thing. In the recent routeONE livery competition, the editor offered readers five liveries in each of three classes: coach, minibus and bus. If you know the results and ranking, please don’t state them in the comments box. Instead, vote for *your* favourite bus livery out of these five bus finalists. It will be interesting to compare how Omnibuses readers feel when compared to those of routeONE. Yes, I know that you may wish to lend your vote to other schemes but these were the only choices available of the 64 bus liveries submitted.

What, no blog about the spending review, the 20% BSOG cut by 2014 and the 10% share price movement for the big four?
And no option to reject the idea of route branding in favour of a low-key but professional non-route-branded approach?
Not a fan of any of them, really. Probably the Bluestar one looks the nicest, but I just find route branding tacky.
... and anything that refers to "easy access" or bus feels very mid-90s.
My favourite livery, FWIW, is the Stagecoach one.
I refused to vote in the route one poll, as I am not impressed by any of the finalists. There's no accounting for taste!
I don't think any of them inspire me that much. One thing I will say is that the Black Diamond livery is the worst - it shows the dirt, fades very quickly and looks dour.
If I had a choice I would go for something not in the list - such as Norfolk Green for instance.
East Yorkshire, every time.

I like the normal East Yorkshire livery, but the Peturia Express branding just looks too fussy to me, it's like they've picked up a load of stickers and thrown them at the side of the bus and kept whatever stuck...
But that's just my personal opinion.
Sorry but I don't like any of the selected vehicle liveries. Blue Star comes closest but the all over blue needs some simple relief rather than explosions.
