A coupla updates. Sorry for the slow revelation regarding the New Year Trivia Quiz. Correct answers here. TY to all who had a stab. And, I trust everyone’s enjoyed the 47 comments on the two recent “snow” posts as much as I. Thanks for all the amends and additional info, as well.

Fellow blog posters - let's start a different quiz.
Just one question: who is Busing who manages this blog?
Many of us have wondered no doubt. So let's have a guess and see!
Quiz - great I got my three answers right!
@RealityCheck - hmm, don't think so. I will admit to often wondering myself who our blogging friend may be. But I think we would lose a great deal by exposing who he or she is. Anonymity is needed as a prerequisite to enable the posting of the incisive comment we enjoy reading each day.

'realitycheck' - I think you need to do a reality check on that suggestion! As Peter says, it would be impossible for Busing to reveal his identity and continue blogging in this way. So, no, let's keep things as they are in that respect. I'm sure we all speculate on that point from time to time, but let's leave it there.
That, of course, is one of the beauties of the internet, in that it enables this sort of anonymity, which in turn allows a fascinating insight into subjects such as bus operation, that we either simply did not have available at all previously, or only from a limited perspective.
Of course, maybe once Busing has retired and his pension is secure, he might choose to reveal his identity himself, but not before then, if at all!
Agree with RC169 in last post. There has been a long tradition of of anonymous comment in the bus industry. Think 'Marksman' for those of us who can remember Coachmart!
You could almost turn the question on its head and start wondering who the contributors with the intriguing names are, eg Realitycheck, RC169 etc etc (-:
All is mystery; but he is a slave who will not struggle to penetrate the dark veil.

sorry vatman-and-robbing (batman-and-robin?), don't get the Disraeli quote.
If I was a betting man I would have layed odds on our blogger friend being . . . sorry I can't tell you, it's a secret
You mean it's not Gordon Brown?
A most interesting comment thread, gentleman! My preference is full anonymity but I may refer to the theme in the near future…
Well that will be interesting friend Busing! I look forward to it.
