Stagecoach to Sell?

Stagecoach this week has been the subject of take-over rumours among stock market traders, according to The Times. Stagecoach’s shares have consequently risen sharply. No one can cite a possible bidder and the rumour remains, well, a rumour. The industry's always awash with specualtion but when The Times picks something up...

One of the benefits of running a blog is the search terms used to arrive here give an insight into how people are thinking. It’s interesting that there’ve been a number of visitors here recently having googled or ScroogledVeolia buys Stagecoach” or similar. We’re in no way suggesting that search terms reflect reality but the thought’s nevertheless on more than one person’s mind…

hmmm....I can think of several companies that I would not want to buy Stagecoach..anyway, thanks for the 7+1 being brought back, very interesting and enjoyable..funny about the Bedford, never heard of it until now...would have preferred those to Darts though... as
darts=rattle rattle rattle...

Now the plan of doing 8 7+1's has gone, why don't you do 14, with the last done divided by 2 other posts!

There has always been a whisper that Stagecoach was going to merge with Go-Ahead. I wonder whther that is an opportunity now?
