At public inquiry today in Poole is Wilts & Dorset, for alleged failures to operate services as registered. It was four years ago that W&D were fined £18,500 in what was then termed fuel duty rebate payments, following a similar public inquiry into its Salisbury operations.
Neighbour First Hampshire & Dorset, meanwhile, is due to appear before the same traffic commissioner in ten days’ time, on very much the same issues.
