Here's one of Go Ahead Group’s recent trade press publications, extolling the virtues of local control, the way the group’s management likes to run its subsidiaries. And the philosophy seems to work well, too, with subsidiaries Wilts & Dorset and Brighton & Hove winning in this year’s Bus Industry Awards. And 2005 was by no means B&H’s first.

To be the backdrop for such an adertisement just proves that there’s life in these old buses yet! Even if some are due for withdrawal this month.
